I just got my idq12 4-ohm dvc sub. ive never done this, but i need to connect the sub to the terminal cup. i am going to run it at 2 ohms so i realize i need to put them in parallel, no problem there. question is, what types of wires do i use to make the connections? do i need to terminate them any special way? what gauge, etc? can they be bought at home depot, or where do i get them?

thanks guy, i knew it was a stupid question but like i said, its my first time doing this. seems like terminating it with a banana clip or some other kind of connector is optional. i'll make a best guess at this.

actually if u guys dont mind, id like to follow up. if im putting the voice coils in parallel, ill need to run the + of one VC to the + of the other, and that feed to the + of the amplifer. this would mean i can't terminate the wires, correct?

do i also use the same wire to run from the terminal cup to the amp?
