Just missing XP pro. Just so I understand. You have no desire to game...but are you wanting to watch movies and such on it? Photoshop or anything? integrated graphics are what you will get in your price range...I have a dedicated in my laptop and wont ever go back. I find that everything from movies to games to music to anything that requires the GPU as well as CPU is smoother.

Ah ok, with the 1440x900 you threw me off...most 17" are of that res. Ill look some more in a min when I get done with this spreadsheet. That frees up a large amount of options with 15.4" screens.
