How to convert this focking .mov video

I made a video for class today, and it HAS to be edited, but it's a .mov file. Windows movie maker does not support this type, and i don't have any other editing programs, nor anything to convert it. I need some good free programs that will convert this into something that movie maker can edit. What do you guys use? Ill use a torrent if i have to.

i use Apex Movie Converter. my kodak digi outputs movies in .mov and for me to edit them in windows movie maker i used Apex and worked very well with no issues.

Alright, so i converted it with bink, and its ****ing 2.9 gigs, for a 5 minute clip, which poses two problems.

1. Thats a huge *** file

2. It won't fit on a disk

When i try to convert it with the program, it says it can't open the input file. ****ing hell this is a pain in the ***.

depending on how large the video is, if you host it i'll convert it for you then send it back in the format desired..

I planned on making a VCD, with Nero. How can I burn it on a DVD? I have a bunch.

depending on how large the video is, if you host it i'll convert it for you then send it back in the format desired..

I'll do that but I can't right now since someone is on my main computer.

EDIT: I'm uploading now, but it says it'll take like an hour and a half. I try and get back to you then, or perhaps since i have to wake up in the morning i can post the link here and you can PM it to me when it finishes?
