Ok since there are about 15 new threads per day asking "which sub is loudest?"

Why don't you all reply with the loudest single sub in all sizes that you have personally heard.

THIS ISN'T AN ARGUEMENT THREAD, its just for posting the loudest "you've" heard.

So with no further ado

A lot of power: 1500 watts or higher

To date my 12" BTL off 2000 watts is the loudest single 12" sub I've heard.

Medium power: 500-1499 watts

12" L7

10" Electrobass..really it got loud

Low power:1-499 watts

12" JLW3

10" Eclipse 8510

before you get flamed, i'll be the first to say that there are sssoooo many variables in this kind of question that its quite uninformative. Between the vehicle size/type/structure to firing direction/box type/installation preparations, its truely a "dumb" question, if you will.

You are the first poster to misunderstand the question presented. I am simply asking for the loudest "you have heard". Now of course there are infinite variables, but thats up to the person wanting to buy a speaker to sift through.

yeah, but do you understand how uninformative, incorrect, and misconceived "you have heard" is

your gonna get people saying theyve heard a wall of 18" MT's on 20k watts, and guys saying they've heard 2 xplod 12's on a 1500watt maxx amp.

i guess what im saying is this thread is going to be useless, but it may get interesting in the long run.

I'll be back when all the thunderdome members go nuts in here.

Im not looking for reply's about "walls of speakers". I am asking you to post for SINGLE sub setups.
