how much of a difference do you guys think i would see going from my two Old Alpine Type E's 12" to new two Rockford Fosgate P2 12"

i just bought a new 500.1 Rockford Fosgate Prime and i must say, im really satisfied.

The alpine type E's are not in the spec area they should be in (they should be in a sealed box, and all that, i have them in ported)

Will i blow the P2's i if i run that 500.1 to them? ( i doubt i would but i wanna make sure )

These p2 subs will be coming with a rockford fosgate box that is tuned to what exactly the p2 is set for.

Orrr would it be good to buy the prime series subwoofers?

Your new system will probably be fairly loud, while giving away some accuracy. Usually, the prefabs are like that, it makes them stand out on the sales floor. If thats what you wanted, then you are good to go. They will handle that alpine amp pretty good I'm sure.

Prime is rf's new line. I guess it's supposed to be more entry level than the punch series...

OP, i dunno about the prefab... If you have the resources to build a box, I'd do that... Enough people can design them for free (or really cheap) and it'll be better than the prefab....

lol id take you up on that offer, but i unfortunately have no idea about that kind of stuff, i just use the woofer wiring wizard thing RF has. I'm excellent with series, but i struggle with parallel.

And what do you mean, Enough people can make them for free? Id like to see this for sure!
