Small budget SQ system ive put together. Need comments plz

It looks a bit like the one on the left... Just theres only like 6 wires, clean and simple.

I just calculated everything, the HU, Scoshe wiring kit, and the amp and it all comes to 239.11, that leaves me roughly 110 bucks for some good 4 inch speakers.

So now she really just wants sound in the car, and im going to order a pair of Infinity 4012is just temporary until we have the money to get an amp and better speakers.

I am going to order the sony HU also.

Any other 4 inch speakers that are 50 bucks and under?

I bet with a little work and cutting you could make a 6 - 6.5" Coax fit in the dash. Look at pioneer REV coaxs if you want to try that. Check them out here. You can find them cheaper on ebay too.

They won't produce midbass as good. I'm sure you can find a pretty decent pair of 4" speakers though.

Could i perhaps have a dedicated Midbass woofer and sub in the trunk?

As for the sub im looking at one of scoobydoos REs, however i wont put it in till later..

Could i possibly make my own component set with speakers and tweets from PE?

No! That would sound like total trash.

Yes, you can make your own component set from PE. Make sure you also get a crossover too.

Couple more questions.

Now with some work i think i can widen the mounting holes in the kicks to fit 5.25 inch speakers, would there be a large difference in midbass if i did this? I also plan to deaden both kicks to further enhance the midbass.

In the trunk i was thinking of doing a custom fglass sub box in the left side of the trunk as the pics show. Any problems with this?
