You obviously didn't actually read anything in here. Those 2 smaller aeros on each side are for the amps and they have fans right in there.

To the OP, that's a slick build man, nice job.

lol thanks for answering that one for me. ive got a few new ideas after a show yesterday. might be able to get a few more tenths out of this box.

Your not worried about mounting the amps on the sub box?

Ive been contemplating mounting my amp on mine

no im not too worried. double baffle and bracing, it doesnt really flex. and i have a little rubberised foam under the amp to dampen some vibration. maybe it will kill my amps one day but you can always get them fixed and rebuild.

excellent build. not huge and super clean. How do those xl's like just the 1500 each? what are the specs of that box? 6" aeros?

i have never seen anyone cover their box to look like hardwood floors or have the amps in cabinet doors. maybe they do a lot of that by you and i just never saw it? oh well, i am happy with it and no one around me seems to have ever seen it before either so it had the effect i was looking for.

i believe i said all the specs in the 1st page but its 5cuft, 6" PSP ports, tuned to 39hz. i clamped my amps and they are actualy doing 3500w at 45hz. i havnt even gotten the coils warm yet. so the XL's seem to be loving it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I am pretty old school so there isn't a lot I haven't seen done at some point. The stained wood and cabinet look isn't done a lot, but has indeed been done.
