you know what, thats what i origionaly wanted to do. when it came time to cut everything i decided it would be too hard to stop the gaps from forming. i did my best to not have gaps but tiny mistakes from my cuts showed up.ehh must have read over it. thanks tho, looks awesome and you got my vote on smd.
I personally love the wood look but I would have gone more of a gapless look between the panels like the floors in my house. but i like the different panels as opposed to once big piece of laminate or veneer. i just like the smooth look. another thing i may have considered is staggering the pieces so that some of them start and stop within the external dimensions of the box. again not ragging on it at all, i love it, just some things i was thinking about
sooner or later i will have a car with hard wood floors! always wanted hard floors in my car, easy to keep clean just gotta worry about rocks in teh shooz.
Yeah. I mean, I understood what you were doing. The box looks well constructed, and it was kind of clever with the round ports. Although it brings up the question of efficiency, and why you just didn't put in a regular sized fan with a fan grille rather than that? I know it looks cool, but it seems inefficient.eh, you cant please everyone. the car already had wood grain on the dash and stuff so i was just matching that.
when i built this box i didnt have a job so i had all the time in the world loli wish i had a box like that im to lazy to spend that much time on a box
