im installing a simple little set up in a bus converted into a camper, just one RF punch 200.2 and 2 6x9s and 2 6.5s what size power wire should i use? the guy really only wants to use what he has. he has 12 feet of 6 gauge which isnt long enough, or he has 16 gauge, would the 16 gauge be alright since it only does 50rmsx2?

I'm always about over kill so stuff like this is really on the line for me since it could potentially be a fire hazard...I would just order some 8g or something and do it right the first time.
ya hes not gonna order anything online for this, he just wants to use what he has. im all about overkill myself but not my build.

16 is going to get hot and/or cause voltage drop which could nuke the amp or speakers. Get 8 ga. or get a splice and finish off the 6 ga. That is the only way to do this properly.
