Farenheit DVD install questions

i need a little help

i have a Farenheit DVD 7 inch flip out and i can't figure out how to get the player to remember the settings. Everytime i turn the car on it returns to factory settings( please help)

4. when i turn the key off and on again -last setting is not saved goes back to factory settings

i have tried everything about 8 hours and i am stompped thanks for any help............

What kind of vehicle, where are you grounding, and are you using a wiring harness or hardwiring?

sorry i have a 2001 nissan maxima with bose i am grounding the unit to black wire from factory also i am using a scose kit everything works but the memory of settings ty.

try grounding directly to metal, also if you have a volt meter handy test the yellow wire for 12v when ign is off

The yellow wire is for constant power, so if it's not getting power the deck won't retain settings.

ran ground to chassis nothing no power on yellow when off so i ran a red wire to fuse under dash and it works anything i should be carefull about doing it this way.

It is considered improper but I have never had any real issues with grabbing power at the fuse box...but there is usually a simple fix for the no constant power, more than likely it is just a blown fuse in the engine bay fuse holder. Just make sure the yellow is hooked up to a constant power source, the red to a switched power source with the key and black is grounded
