Sounds like she is an ignorant bit ch, and got fired.
Unemployment DENIED!

Even if she did get fired, if there was no written/verbal warnings or write ups before they fired her or if there are no written rules/laws that she violated she should be able to get unemployment.

Also she needs to go back to her boss and find out which neighbors were complaining and actually go to the neighbors houses to verify that there was a problem, but first get him to sign a letter stating WHY she got fired, make sure that everything he mentioned is stated in the letter and they if you cant verifiy everything in the letter I would say you have room for a appeal.

Does this guy have a wife, she might be a little suspicious of the maid if you know what I mean, females will get like that:crazy:, and if shes *****in him out for something that hes not even/or might be doing you could bet that your girls job was on a short peice of string after that started.

Was the position removed, or was the employee removed from the position? This is how you define getting laid off or not. If the employer is, has or will hire new nanny, she was not laid off. This does not necessarily mean she is not entitled to unemployment however. That will vary from state to state.

sounds to me like she was fired and not laid off. But even when fired from a job, at least in ohio, you can still get unemployment. Usually only when you get fired because of attendance or you quit are you not granted unemployment. Appeal it. She'll probably get it.
