Best thang smokin'!
I'm working on an enclosure for the pair of Atlas 12"s I've got on the way and I want to have my dimensions checked. I'm going for about 1.3-1.5ft^3 sealed per speaker. The dimensions are -
Height - 14 inches
Width - 30 inches
Length - 16 inches
Total internal volume comes to 2.989ft^3 before displacement or divider. I figure after displacement (I don't know the exact number but I think it's somewhere around .12ft^3) and the .75 MDF dividing the two chamers, I should be right where I want to be.
Also, are there any major advantages/disadvantages to common chamber enclosures? I've never tried one yet and I was considering making this box my first but if there are some noticable disadvantages, I'll spend the extra $1 for the MDF divider. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
