RL-P, 2 different designs?

I just got my RL-P Dual 2 in the mail from another member, and noticed that the cone on mine is silver instaed of black like on the website, and is made out of aluminum (or some kind of hard metal). Also, the magnet is one big magnet, even though on the website the magnet seems to be 2 stacked on eachother. Did SoundSplinter change the RL-P design or something?

anyone? Im kind of confused as to why my RL-P looks way different from the one on the website. BTW it was originally purchases through the Dual 2 Group Buy, if that makes any difference. And if they did change the appearance, did they change the driver or anything on the current ones?

Mine actually looks alot like that one, except the cone on mine is Silver and not flatconed. Whats the deal? Did i buy an RL-P or just a blank TC9 sub?

Yes that is a rl-p with a new cone design. Mike made a special magnet for the group buy subs as well. So yes you have a Rl-p.

that is a magnet cover. i believe the newer rl-p's have a triple stacked magnet...

Black cone, logoless

Black cone, with logo
