should i work in **** production?

so having a hard time finding work in the field i want (filmproduction) ive had some experience but not much, mainly PA,VTR and some boom work. then i found a posting for a PA (production assistant) on craigslist for a production company that does ****. should i do it?

funny, one of my teachers at the audio school i went to said if nothing works out, theres always ****. then shows us a vid of this douch bag doing sound to film (eh ****) treating his assistant like his own play thing.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

and no i dont have any samples from them to see how good the production value is.............. yet.

My friends dad is involved with either marketing or distribution of it. From what I gather, it's just another job. Idk if being a PA will be any different.
