ok currently i have an 02s12L7 and for christmas im gettin a directed audio 1500 ... the thing is tho is i know im not gonna be happy with the bass im gonna get

so i was wondering, do you think i should get another L7 or mayby sell the L7 i have now and get 2 15" comp vr's? btw box is gonna be ported since i can fit 5 bodies in my trunk

so i guess im asking what would be better with a DA 1500, 2 L7's or 2 kicker comp Vr's and which would be louder? everyone tells me im gonna be satified with my 1 l7 and even if i do need more bass i can just get another one and it will be retarded loud , but im a real bass-head and for some reason i just dont see myself being satisified with just 1 or 2 12's

Do you already have a box built for your l7? If you do, just wait and see how you like it. You can always sell it in the classifieds or to a friend. I wouldn't go and buy anything on a whim until you know how you like it.

Well if you don't have a box built, build one for a 12" sub, and if you don't think it gets loud enough, you can buy a better, louder 12" sub and sell your l7.

i used to think i was huge bass head to. save your money try multiple enclosures before ou dicide to changes subs. It will save u a bit of moeny

i just hooked up my 2 02S12L7's, to a directed 1100d amp in a 6ft^3 box tuned to 33 hz, and it is all the bass i'll ever need, it is so loud, it actually hurts my throat to listen to it, so if i were you, i'd try out the 1 L7 for now, and if thats not enough, then try to get another one, or if you dont like it then sell it and get something else. just try out new things, that's what it's all about.

1st, I cant think of any square subs that are better than the L7

2nd, generic box for teh loze!

no way.....definitally go with 2 L7's and port them.....i learned that hard way that holding back on the first try ALWAYS FAILS.....just go "all out" so that way ur gonna be satisfied for sure.....never go half ***....get the 2 L7's and watch them pound....dont be a puss wt one l7
