should i take my cap off

Remove the cap, and do the big 3. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

U will find a much more difference with the cap off and big 3 on.
just wondering but how would the cap really hurt you if you went ahead and did the big 3?

that is what i was thinking...but i will see a better difference with the cap off and the big 3????

I myselft dont' think caps hurt. though im not an electrician or a science whiz...

I say do the big3 w/ and w/o the cap and see which you prefer. trying is the best way to find out.

A cap could hurt you if your electrical system is very small. That cap has to get its power from somewere (ie: your electrical system) Its just another devise eating up your power. It will help you for short bass hits but then it drains and then takes energy to recharge its self. Thats the way I understand it at least. I could be wrong but it makes sicne to me...

oh my elect. system is stock for now...im about to do the big 3 and my stock alt. is 100 amps...i will try it both ways and see which is better....also should i buy a DMM or DVM or what's the diff....

also my amp is "1600 watts" peak... what size power wire do you think i need....i only have like 10 foot from bat. to amp...i have a ok 4 right now but i eather am going to get a better 4 gauge or 1/0....i dont know if 1/0 will fit on my amp but i could try if you guys think that would be better
