well i think im going to get rid of them and go with something smaller so i can save up for a big build this summer what you guys think? would you guys go bass less for a while to get some good stuff in a couple months? guy on CL offered me 200.

Yes, I just sold my two 12's for 200 even with no box. I took 130 out of my pocket and went with AQ SDC2.5's. The Type R is a great woofer but sometimes it is fun to experiment, hell you can get new type r's for 250 shipped. 200 is a good deal for you. I have been bassless for awhile now and it is ok to do because there is light at the end of the tunnel (new stuff)

as much as i like those subs. and as clean as sounding they are. haha. i'd give them up. if you're upgrading to the 3-4k haha thats like quadruple the wattage

well ya i know i want to sell them, but i don't know if i want to do it right now. lol. i wont be getting the new stuff for probably 3 months. wont be able to install it until summer anyways. but i mean going 3 months with lil bass is going to ****. but i guess it will make my new set up sound even louder. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif I got a sundown e8 should be here tomorrow. ill probably pick up another one and run those off a amp i have chilling in my garage to get me by for the next 3 months.

I can't go without bass very long. It drives me crazy after a while. If you can go without bass for a while then sell those R's. Also think about whether selling them is really that much help toward a bigger build or if you could just wait a bit longer to save what you would have had from selling them.

ya thats the thing, im going to be sitting on the money i get from the for a while. its going to be used towards the next system. ill probably use the money i get from these and my amp towards a HO alt. but i put them up on CL and within 20 mins had a guy say he wants them. lol. si im like shit might as well sell them now while i have a buyer.

99, what are you trying to do? You know watts don't mean crap, those type r's can bang with the best of them in that box i'm sure! If anything, make a new box, make it really big, then buy some 15's if you really want to hear a difference. I have no clue what your doing, so that's just my opinion

oh, and as soon as you get a HO alt, your arrrrhhhhs will get really loud. Do you have the big 3 upgraded yet? If not, then that alone will make a difference. I don't think you should sell them yet

well im getting a new amp i don't think the Rs would like 3-4k RMS //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif i just got used to them, so I'm bored with them got to change things up every now and then. ill be looking for a used IA 40.1 or Memphis 4kw or something along those lines. and the only reasoning im getting a HO alt is to upgrade me amp lol. i tihnk im done with type Rs, they sure were good to me though.
