System

okay well i ordered the speakers for my system so its finished and a local car audio store is doing all my installation, how loud can i expect this to bump its my first system and im hoping i can hear it frm prtty far away, I got 4 fosgate power speakers, 4 tweeters , 4 amps running all that ( it all comes in a package ) , then 2 power T1 subs , in a box that my local store is making. with a 10001 something amp or something like that in a ford 1999 explorer sport

you definitely don't need 5 amps.. -_- why don't u be more efficient and get a 4 ch amp? and is the box they're making a ported or sealed? and how many cubes? About it being loud will depend on your install. It will probably be decently loud but I wouldn't say from that far away tho. Make sure to use some good wires!

u have a lot to learn about quality in a system. Read around and you'll learn a lot.

thanks for thei nfo blazian, i have no idea. my moms paying for it all its a christmas-birthday-christmas -second birthday gift, i got no idea what the store has planned
I was going to say, sucks that you are investing all of this money in a system and you have no idea what your getting. But your Mom is paying for it, so who cares! Your system will more than likely be: not that loud, overpriced, and not that impressive.

P.S. The more sound you hear outside of the car, the less you hear inside.

this thread is fcuking FAIL.

you're equipment doesn't mean shit.

I don't care how much you spend on a component set, or raw drivers, amps, etc, etc. Unless you put a huge amount of effort into your install, you won't even achieve a stock systems level of performance. Yeah, you can get louder, but not better.

So, it doesn't matter what speakers you buy. In fact, choosing a set of speakers is the absolute LEAST of your worries.

I'd rather see you spend your limited budget on some creative acoustic solutions for your car, and have you sing to yourself, than spend the money on a set of speakers that will give you poor results, not because of quality, but because of install.
