Should I replace my blown 6x9's with 6.5?

I believe my 6x9's are blown. In reading a bit on this forum it sounds like I might get better sound guality out of a pair of coax 6.5's then 6x9's. I'd obviously need an adapter but in general is this something people recommend? These are just rear fill. (I know I know..some say you dont need rear fill. I do!).

I've got Infinity Reference 5 1/4 components in the front. Adding a power amp next week (4 channel profile 75w x 4) to drive front and rears. So I need something that will handle a bit of power.
