Should I not even bother?

lol owner of the local jl/audiobahn/rf/pioneer/alpine shop asked me what was in my truck when i went in there for speaker wire. i told him, and apparently he'd never heard of alumapro/rainbow, crossfire, or fi. he didnt get all uppity and "oh that stuff *****" on me, but i could tell thats what he was thinking. this was before i had everything put in. i need to head back down there one of these days and scare the piss out of him //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

well if you fold the seats down. and face the subs and port forward and then seal the front of the baffle from the trunk. and seal all the opening leading to the trunk. what youll do is decrase the size of the cabin and decrase the amount of air that the subs have to move to create a higher level of spl. you will still have sound some sound coming from your trunk, it will be muffled some. i think its a good idea. im sure it will increase the DB output by some point. not buy much. but it should. since you will have a smaller cabin that way. but it should be done right for it to work.
