Should I get Vista for $12?

Get Vista, only if your computer can handle it. Its great software. Most people that hate it just gon't understand it. Its pretty much just like XP, but prettier. I have it and have never had a problem.

vista really is fail especially for games. wait until windows 2007 i think it is comes out. it'll be awesome with the 2008 servers. yummy

vista is good especially after installing service pack 1 the virtual memory boost option is real nice....

I can get a legal copy of Vista Ultimate for 12 bucks, is it worth upgrading from XP?

Depends on how good your computer is ...
If it's more than 1-year-old, stick w/ XP ... If it's newer than 1-year-old, post the specs ...
