Should I get this subwoofer?

cant go wrong with the sa 12s. just throw 1200-1500w at them your bass needs will be fulfilled for the time being

What about those that you have? The SA 12s? I looked those up and heard great things about them. I know they're more expensive for my budget but im willing to dish out more money for the better.

I'm a very big fan of them. I'd recommend them to anyone. They get loud and can also get quite low (given the proper enclosure). They're rated at 600 rms, but will take more easily. I have mine off of 1k each

So what kind of amp should I get? I want a amp thats good for two although im only going to start off with 1 sub. Trying to figure out what box I should get is confusing too.

you can get an audiopipe 1500w for cheap. its 1 ohm stable too. or you can check the classifieds here for a better amp

Its monoblock so does that mean its only good for one sub?

no you can use it for 2 subs. im using the ap1500d to power my 2 vvx 12s

No, that just means it is a subwoofer amp, has to sets of connections, but they are summed on the inside of the amp. Makes it easier for us to run multiple subs without having to cram wire together.
