should i get and o-scope or a DMM?

my colossus will arrive today and ima need a dmm to set the gains. what is a good brand and how much do they go for? shoulkd i get the dmm or an o-scope?

DMM about 20 bucks. I have never heard/seen a ocill at a shop, for sell at least....
