Should I expect port noise?

I've made a box for 2 10" Memphis Pr's. It is 2.64 cu ft before any displacement. I've already bought 2 4" pvc ports from Lowes. Are 2 4" ports too much port? Memphis recommends 3"x12" round port in 1 cube for 1 sub, but I just found that out after the box was already made. The recommended box on their website was bigger than 2 cubes. I still haven't cut the holes in it for the ports. It will only be about 4 bucks for me to go and get the 3" pvc. Is Memphis right or should I go bigger? I don't know what to expect as far as port noise because this is my first box build with round ports? I don't even know how to install the dang ports as far as keeping still while the glue cures, but I'll figure it out.
