should i do the big 3

I have a 1993 BMW 325is coupe. I have a stock altenator and an interstate battery. I am going to be installing a kicker zx750.1 mono amp. I dont know if I should do the big three or if I will even have to. It would be a little more expensive for me to do the big 3 cuz my battery is all the way in the trunk.

Wrong. If you're running amps drawing minimal current, then you won't see any benefit doing the big 3, and will only be wasting money.

The big 3 helps the whole electrical system of the vehicle. Stock wiring is only sufficient just do the big 3 for any system. Why Not? Its not expensive at all.

You will get dimming from ~900wrms. Genious

Turn your car on and then turn on your headlights, then watch and turn your heater on all the way. You will probably see a slight dim, now put a 70a pulling amp on top of that.

Stock junk *** battery and a 117a alt. No dimming at idle either.

His alt is probably around 80a. That 40a makes a big difference.
