Should I convert the 15" to an 18"

Also need to realize that an 18" is going to use a much larger enclosure. You got room for it?

Yes, a few months ago they were out of 18" baskets. So, those threads were correct at the time.

so wouldn't he just get a new 18 instead of a recone and basket? unless RE is just gonna remove the driver and and slap it on the 18".

They would reuse the motor assembly. But it would have a new basket and new softparts.

I have the room, gonna run with a single sub in a Bravada. Amp is an Adire REVO 1500, no birthsheet, Ive heard they are underrated, not sure by how much if at all. Think Im gonna do it......

Seems wierd that they would do this considering the costs. It's gotta be cheaper for them to just trade you out.......doesn't matter...

As for going up to the 18? Nevermind space and power, cause the needs are not that dramatic. What are you looking to gain? If you expect a huge increase in volume, it won't be there. Theory says, double cone space = 3 dB. 15 to 18= inaudible volume change.
