thats the box.. i want it to have the loudest bass possible.. i got a type R and a v12 amp and it just isnt as loud as i thought it would be or for the money that i paid for it.. so i just want it to sound better

That box is small, and probably tuned very high. I would get someone on here to make you a new box, or make one youself...

i actually bought it because it was small.. i had 2 12' bandpass that took up my whole trunk.. i needed the space back.. i just need to get it to sounda bit better ya know

Id take it back and get someone here to build you one, or make you some plans for one. They know what they are talking about. You would probally be a lot happier that way to.

well lets put it this way guys.. it was hella cold on the way home tonight and i had the radio on for once and for some reason it hit pretty **** good... i dont know what it is but im still concidering another box.. i dont want it to be killer bass, i just want it to be the money worth bass.. and i think that my cap. isnt working... but ima look into it tommarow.. keep the opinon's coming guys, i really love the input.

first things first, make sure the amp is properly adjusted along with the deck.

second, how many ohms is the sub wired up? maybe someone installed it and wired it at 4ohm rather than 2ohm...who knows.

even if the box is THAT small, it should give enough bump to feel the bass at least.

and check out the bass track thread. what kind of songs are you playing while testing out your equipment?

Also, your cap is probably working as there is no real way to tell if it is or not, but in that Honda, the headlights will still flicker as the a/c compressor kicks on and off. This is the ELD working, and you can't cure it. If the lights are dimming with Bass hits consistantly, than the cap 'aint getting it done.
