Should I buy this?

You do realize most of the humans that would ever ride in your car normally weigh much more than this, yes?
He hangs out with 12 year olds, pump the brakes YO!

Yes, I was looking at the new xxx which weighs a lot more. I have heard the old xxx are better any truth to this? If I get some pics today I will share them. Any tips for buying used? So I don't buy a piece of crap. Thanks
Bring a DMM and test the ohm reading, tap around the outer part of the cone with one finger lightly if you hear any mechanical noise (it will usually repeat itself if tapped in same spot once heard) walk away. Punch him in the nuts and steal the subwoofer. You're welcome.

I MIGHT have made up that second part but it seems to work for blown subwoofers? I dont remember who told me that, but everytime has a blown subwoofer it seems to have a loud mechanical tap at one part of the sub when blown. hmmmmm ill have to research this....

Oh or you could do the 9V trick as well.

sonuvabtich!

Bring a DMM, and a gun. Makes for a great transaction.
Make sure the gun is clearly visible and to make subtle hints you have killed people before for less than what its worth, and keep looking around the area as to make sure theres no one watching.

You have two choices, dress like you're from the Godfather, or don't shower for a few days and look dirty as ****, both make the gun look more dangerous.

True, but it often does depend on Where the weight is. for example, if I have two fat ass people in my back seat, the weight is in front of the rear wheels, so the weight is split between the front and rear shocks. But when I put my subs and box and amp (about 300 pounds) in the back end of my jeep, you can see a slight dip in the back and a very slight lift in the front. And by slight, I do mean very minimal, almost un-noticable. Just sayin that the location of the weight in the car plays a factor as well, not just how much weight.

Sorry that got long winded, i'm bored at work haha

General rule of thumb....if you google what you want to purchase and you see them for sale on forums(and actually selling or being traded) you always pick it up. I don't care what it is. This does not just pertain to mobile electronics. This can be for pretty much anything.

Or if you are more like me...you just buy what ever catches your eye and then worry about money later on lol

I would pick it up for that price. Even if you have no use for it at the moment, they are very nice subs and go for about double what you will be paying for it. Hell the motor alone goes for around 150 on the forums.

Sell it to me once you buy it. We can figure out shipping. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
