Buy it though. for $350 I would buy it and park it infront of the house for sale. When someone asks about tell em you want $500 for it. Make a little cash off it. That, or just wait for scrap to go back up, and junk it.

That makes a huge difference. On my dad's policy my insurance is like...$90 a month. I checked into getting my own policy, and it would have been $250 a month.
My friend just bought an older Dodge Dakota for $380. 4x4 with a lift, and mud tires. I am sure the tires alone would fetch $250 or more. We gave that thing hell for a week straight. He just got deployed to the Navy so now it is his bro's truck.. We got tons of enjoyment out of giving it hell, and the thing still runs. Just has a lot more dents and scratches on it.
