Hey, I've got an alpine mrp f240 4 channel amp pushing my excelon comps and coax's. Its 40 wrms x 4 at 4 ohm and 100 wrms x 2 at 4 ohm. I've never bridged this amp before or any other and was wondering if I should bridge the front components and give them 100 wrms rather than the 40 they are getting now and put the back coax's on the deck? Is this ok and are there any drawbacks?

yeah you can bridge them but you wont hear your rears as much, i would go with a bigger amp like a 300x4 or something depending on what your speakers could handle. you would only run one set of rca's too, for chan 1/2
