Goob told me he was going to have google scan the ads they have been presenting to the forum to see if the virus is coming through the ads.

Its so refreshing to have to pry this info out of the management here, 2nd person. Goob can come here to post about the new background color, but this virus problem isn't a big enough issue for him to make an appearance and reassure us himself that he is doing what he can to protect from the virus his website is infecting his own members with?

its his ads. its not easy to switch out an ad service, esp if you have a contract. im sure hes aware of it. if youre THAT worried, use adblock plus.

That doesnt prevent it.

Just by visiting certain sections of the board you can get infected. Im sure its different for everyone else, but when I click subwoofer section its infected.

Members shouldnt have to install Chrome or FF and ABP to prevent the infection. They should be able to use what ever browser they want when visiting a trusted site (most of the time) and not have to worry about the BS that Goob is pulling.

I agree, we shouldn't have to take special precautions to visit this site. Does Goob think the population will stay current, or even increase, if his members all have to run special virus protection software to visit his site? Of course he doesn't, which is why Im confused he doesn't appear to be taking this seriously in the context of keeping his membership community informed on the situation.
