Setup help, Is my amp Focked?

I have a 10" JL audio sub im trying to run on an old boss amp. When everythings hjooked up, the ampe gets power but the sub stays off. I have the sub bridged in wiring, and Im not sure if that is right as I know nothing of ohms and such.

The amp is 150w x2ch and it is 2ohm stable if it helps and it looks like this;

Also, it confuses me because sometimes if i twist the RCA cables or just move it around where it is connected to the amp, I get a pop or a short low note. I thought it was the cables, so I bought new ones (same problem after), and then i checked the inner connections and everything LOOKED fine......

I just want to know if the problem is with the amp. I know its not the sub, becasue if i hook the sub up to my home stereo it will play without the amp, so it is either wiring or the amp.

looks like u didn't ground the amp, or even have a remote turn on cable to it.

Completely hook up that POS and maybe it will work for ya.

Connect the + to your fused battery wire

Connect the - to your vehicle chasis for a ground (Scrape the paint off first for a clean ground)

Connect the remote wire from your H/U to your amp, in the appropriate slot.

I have everything hooked up right, im running off of a battery in my room to test it, i have pos run to pos on batt, remote loops to pos, ground goes to neg on batt...what could be wrong?
