I am 20 years old a little new to everything but been loving car audio lately so... I am working on completing my setup for my 1990 Integra GS. This is my daily driver, I have fully sound deadened the interior it and have a solid subwoofer setup that gives enough kick to where it doesn't drown the mids/highs. Subwoofer and AMP setup works completely fine don't want to change a thing.
What I am looking to do
Add an amplifier wired to the:
2 Deck speakers JBL Club 9632 - 3Ω. 85wRMS/255W Peak
2 Door speakers JBL CLUB 64FSL - 3Ω 55wRMS/165w Peak
AMP - Pioneer GM-4704
Continuous-Power-Output:
40 W x 4-Channel - 4 Ohm,65 W x 4-Channel - 2 Ohm,130 W x 2-Channel - 4 Ohm Bridged
Maximum Power Output:
80 W x 4-Channel (4 Ohm),130 W x 4-Channel (2 Ohm),520 W (4 Ohm Bridged)
(4RCA cables from headunit to amp - Wired directly from amp into the speaker (speaker wire does not come from headunit))
I am going to add a door pod to the rear 2 doors that each hold 1:
Memphis PRX5 - 4Ω 30wRMS/60wPeak
Concern - I want to power the Memphis speakers from the wire harness coming out of my Pioneer head unit (not involving any amps), going into the rear deck speaker. I am going to extend the rear upper deck factory speaker wire harness to reach into the rear door pods holding the Memphis PRX5 speakers. I do not want to wire them in series to the JBL CLUB 64FSL speakers because the Memphis can't handle the power, and I do not want to drain the JBL speakers.
I believe this will just affect the use of my fader and cause the Memphis to sound quieter than the JBL speakers. I do not plan on lowering my gain to allow the Memphis speakers to catch up.
I do not want to buy an amp just for the Memphis speakers. But if I have to, I will down the line and just want to know how this would work temporarily.
Does this system seem good to you? LMK
Heres the wiring, sorry if it's messy.
