Well Bass Boost knob isn't meant to be cranked to max, ever.

Usually when you set correctly, you can raise it up to 6db Boost.

It's understanable.

What I don't understand is ppl who thumb bass knob into +18..........

Usually when you set correctly, you can raise it up to 6db Boost.

I like the amps where you can choose which freq to boost.

In which case I add about 1-3 dB @ 3-5 HZ above port tunning

BB should alsways be set to zero.
