Setting up subs with an loc. Wondering what I should do.

Heard that active loc's are better and safer for your audio. I have a $15 passive one I bought from best buy but I'm wondering now if I should get an active one as I want clean bass. I'm going to run my 2 "12 kickers with a 1600w max powebass amp. I'm also wiring into the stock radio(obv) on my newly obtained 2011 accord. Thanks for any help!

I could be wrong but on that car I think you need to do an eld bypass on the alternator so it will power your system properly.

Clean bass?.. with a LOC?.. and a Powerbass amp as well... IDK... if I HAD to choose between the two it would be the active one... that being said I would NOT expect too much...
