setting the gain on my amp

i have a MA audio amp running 700 RMS to one 12" L7. i have the gain about half way and the bass boost off right now. i was wonderding how to set this for the best (loudest) sound. i have all the deck setting off also (bass, eq, loud, bbe, ect.)

How would you set the amp and also how would you set the deck?????

put the settings to where you usually listen to them then set your gain and it should be louder.

what i did was put my hu on about 3/4 max and turned the gain up till my sub distorted then back off a little. my gain was under 1/4 up

What about cross over on the mono amp? I have 2 10inch mtx's runnin a total of 500 watts rms. Rite now Ive got it set to about 90 hz. Is that good?

Im running my system with the factory HU. Ive got a 04 accord and dont want to mess with that crazy stock all-in-one HU. If I amplified my speakers would that make my sub louder?

yes bass boost off

never use it. ill only make your amp clip easier. plus it makes your subs sound like @ss!!!
