Setting Orion 2500d gains @ .5ohm?

I will be running my Orion 2500d @ .5ohm. Problem is I am unsure fo what to set the gains to. I know that if I run it @ 1ohm I just put the total number of watts and get the sqrt.

For example,

my old setup was two 15" L7s off an Orion 2500d

I had my gains set for 44.7, to get 2,000rms.

What would I set my gains to if I was to be running the amp @ .5ohm?

I dont think its "Watts wanted" more like "watts the amp will put out RMS at that given load." I cant tell my jbl amp to put out 2200 watts because the box says its a 2200 watt amp and then figure the gains from there. You might want to look into using an o-scope to set them properly due to the load...

no shit, hence why he should use an o-scope for best results. Using the simple formula with sqrt(power*ohm)=volt isnt good enough. Orion doesnt give the RMS power at 1/2 ohm and using a ball-park number probably isnt the best idea.
