Setting Midbass Frequencies

Hey guys,

I'm setting up my first system...and I have a pretty noob question.

I have the crossover on the amp for my Subwoofers set at 75Hz low pass.

I then have my midrange connected to a crossover at 300Hz high pass.

My questions is how do I set up my Mid Bass frequency range? What I would like to do is have my midbass frequency set from 100Hz - 300 Hz but I'm confused on how to limit it from 100-300.

My idea was to set the crossover that came with the 6.5 to a high pass of 100 hz, allowing all frequencies over 100 to pass thru.

Then I wanted to set the crossover on my amp set to a low pass of 300 hz, only allowing frequencies below 300.

Would that give me the midbass range from 100hz - 300hz? If not, how do I achieve this range.

Thanks guys!

that would do what you need as long as the crossovers you have can be adjusted, not sure what headunit you are running but you may be able to take care of that there, also, some amps have a bandpass filter on some of the channels, but again, not sure what your running. its always a good idea to list all of your equipment, either do it in the post or put it up in your signature.
