(setting) lpf, subsonic filter, and tuning. ? . ? .

I see alot of people post to turn this off(subsonic filter) . I have a pa lt980/2 and it turns up and down but not off what should I set it at? I have 2 atlas12's ported 2ft^3 each at 32hz also where should my setting for the lpf be set I have it turned to 30hz same as the subsonic filter at 30hz is this bad?

also does anyone know a good port tuning for the atlas 12's their website only shows a sealed box.or would I be better off going to a smaller sealed box for the subs? rather than the 2ft^3 ported box I have them in now if the ported is ok I just need to know what hz. to port em at.

ok I was told to set the low pass at 80~100hz and the sub sonic filter to 25~30hz I will try that and see what happens now .. .

I made a box for an atlas 12" that was 4cubes gross, 2.7 of sub airspace, tuned to 27hz. the sub sounded phenomenal. granted i added a couple of port tricks to the box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif but it sounded better than really, any 12 ive ever heard under 400 bucks.

Something not worth the time learning how to do, imo. Ported box would sound just great. I say HPF at 10hz...LPF at 80-100hz (whichever you want)
