setting high pass for 12"l7

i dunno if this is possible to answer, but what is a reasonable setting for the highpass filter for an L7? Not sure what mine is set on but i think its set too high. what are possible outcomes from having it set to high and what are symptoms of having a high pass set to high?

yes i mean subsonic and i am not sure what my box is tuned to. I bought it as a package with an 05 12" L5. It is in my signature and if anyone knows what its tuned to please help me out!

Well, a "symptom" of having the SSF set too high will be not allowing the subwoofer to have as much low end extension as it's capable of.

It would be extremely beneficial if you could find out what your enclosure is tuned to.

If nothing else, measure the length, width and height of the port and post the measurements along with the length, width and height of the enclosure (and state if the measurements are internal or external measurements and, if external, how thick the MDF is).

by highpass, do you mean subsonic filter? keep it at the tuning of your port.

No. keep it @ a half octave lower than your tuning.
