Having some issues with a newer setup the amp has a bass knob or remote gain not even sure which it is really its a rd9 5000 watt amp and i got it on a single 18. i was bumpin around at about 25 on the volume for kenwood deck and i turned the remote gain/bass knob down(which was around halfway up) and it seemed to get louder but then i started gettn a lil stink at 25 on volume when before i turned the knob down it never got stinky at 25 on volume,
why would volume seem to increase(not sure if got louder but seem to rattle ur eyeballs harder) when lowering the knob down but then sub would start gettn stinky?
im running a 320 amp hairpin alt and voltage dropping from 14.5 to around 12.9 on e-40 im da man
