I am ordering 3 directed 1100d's. 2 directed 500/2's, and three type r 12's. I got new type r components (my old ones blew), and got type r coax in the back, putting in the clarion 1/2 din center channel and jensen vm9510 indash dvd as well. going to put a 500/2 on both the front and back speakers. going to put one 1100d on each type r 12" at 1 ohm also. each sub will have ~2 cubes tuned to low 30's. going to run 0 gauge or possible two runs of 0 gauge and do big 3 with 0 gauge also. If i could provide enough power to run at 14.4, these amps should give me 3300+ watts rms to my subs, but since i don't have a new alt. i probably wont get near this. All this is going into my 02 honda civic sedan. i hoping to break a 150 on a local shops meter, i don't know what kind it really is though.

i hope you have an upgrade electrical system, or youre going to have a huge drain on your battery. why did you pick the alpine type r components again if you blew the first ones? with all the money you spent you could have gotten a much better front stage

i wouldnt run 3 1100d's. you can get just as much power from another single amp. but thats just me. but i would strongly reccommend an alternator and a few batteries or else this is all a waste.

i agree you need a bigger alt. and maybe a second battery or you will not get all the power you are wanting to get

i want the 5 amps for show purposes, but i could get the 2500d, but not as much power and with running three subs, i can get 1 ohm on each of my amps, and i am going to put in a yellow top, new alt maybe later on.

i am not planning on getting the full 3300 rms out of them,600-800 from each will suffice for now

better watch out for dangerous voltage drop. electrical components (hint: amps)dont like that. and the brushes in the stock alternator will cook with the current draw you will have.

if 1100watts blows them, they are only $110 bucks a piece. i am also going to set the gains below maximum power. when my alt. dies on me, i will get the 180 ho. alt.
