2000 Diamante Infinity Front Replacements

My brother has asked for replacements for his front speakers in his 2000 Diamante. The car has the stock Inifinity sound system.

I was just curious if anyone could help me out with finding decent replacements. My price range is $60 for the two. Size, pre-amplified, etc would help.

Whats the recommendation now days?

i would just go back with the Infinity. Great brand. Awesome products. Get the reference series.

Although not going to buy from CrutchField, their site was the only one I could find that would give me size specs. It says the front doors take 6 3/4 speakers.

My brother had a 93 Maxima with the BOSE system in it. When replacing those speaker, we found out that each speaker had its own amplification. Is that going to be the case for the Diamante?
