I have a phoenix gold 400.2 running 1 12" pwd mb quart. I don't how to set up the amp. What does Freq. and Sens do? How should I set up the AUX and AMP it has

Speaker Outputs HIGH PASS- AUXILIARY Outputs LOW PASS.

So> LOW PASS-AO> HIGH PASS,

SO> FULL RANGE-AO> FULL RANGE,

SO> LOW PASS- AO> FULL RANGE.

What works the best for a SUB?

FREQ. stands for frequecy. Your amp has a built in crossover, you should have it set to LOW PASS. The FREQ. knob should be set to about 80hz. or lower.

SENS. stants for input sensitivity, set this to match the preout voltage of your head unit. It's basically like a gain or volume for the amp.

AUX is only used when you want to hook up a 2nd(auxillary) amp, but your head unit only has one set of preouts. Than you could use your amps auxillary outs and crossover with the 2nd amp. My friend calls it "piggybacking".
