Selling the type Rs for RLPs... will i be happy?

Hey should the RL-p hit harder because the way it acts above 50hz. From what I read the RL-p is real good SQ sub that can get loud. I am going to find out for my self. I am going to be pulling out a SE12 and going to the Rl-p12 as soon as mine shows up.

From what I have read 99% of the People that have Rl-p love them and would buy them again.

I loved it but i WOULDN'T buy one again...overpriced IMO and there are cheaper subs that hits harder...once again, if you're JUST looking for more SQ and have the money to burn just to "try" things out, you won't be dissappointed...

if you're looking for best bang for the buck, definitely not the sub for you!

overpriced LOL.... Find me a better cheaper sub you can get straight from the company for $220. That can take 700-1000 watts.
you can get premier spl's online for $135 750wrms

or you can get a lower model like 306dvc -306c for around 50 bucks online buy 4 and you got yourself 1600w rms for about $220

best buy with a warranty that covers it even if you throw it out your window and run it over for that much.
not so man .. not talking bout the price.. the warranty some best buys give you a ton of crap when you need to use that extended warranty . one best buy refused to honor an extended warranty i had on a product had to go to another one to get it honored . all depends on where you live i guess

if you buy one, thats $240, and even if you buy two of them, thats about $30-$60 for shipping depending on where you live...

thats about close to $500 for two or $270 for one...for a 12...

like i said, if you got money to throw, and want some good sq, you can't go wrong...maybe if they were $50 less, then i say it would be about right...

and yes, even something more over priced is JL!

we're talking about the whole deal...which would include the warrantee IMO...the whole "anchalada"...the total, TOTAL cost...once in a while, the R will be around $190 + $25 for warrantee...

i don't think they will take it if it was thrown out the window...lolz but i asked them and they've pretty much told me that reguarding to subs, if you blow one, they'll get you a new one...cus how would they know if it was overpowered? 3 of them pretty much gave me the *wink* *wink* that they wouldn't care unless it was butchered or something...

if you cut the surround or made a big dent on the cone or something then i can see them not honoring it...

it went downhnill after that real fast. so i went to another store

i would have punched his teeth out...wat a dooshed bag

i've had a couple good experiences wit them and so has a few of my friends...i have not heard any horror stories yet but hopefully i don't experience any of them in the future...

usually i don't buy those extended warrantees anyways cus i know i'll end up taking good care of it and 95% of the time nothings going to happen so it'll just be a waste of money...

but i am tempted to buy one of those R's with the warrantee and give it 2K all day...lolz

but for that price i could have bought two new ones on ebay and give them 800-1K each and they'll probably would run just fine for a good long time...
