This may not be the right place to post, if not, sorry....I just joined today and am looking for some ideas for a system set-up in my '96 T/A...anybody have any pics of a system in a 4th generation f-body? thanks for ya help

I don't know will there be too many pics of what you're after to be found here. A better source might be CarDomain.com and SoundDomain.com or other related sites that are created solely for the purpose of showing off pix of your systems/rides rather than a gathering place to discuss them.

we can help you pick out some good equipment, but car domain is a much better place for some ideas, But if you want help putting together a system give us a budget andwe will get you going

Like Prowler was saying, browse some of the rides over at cardomain and sounddomain and see what set-ups you like. Then, when its time to purchase some equipment, come back and we'll be glad to give you advice on what may be a better purchase for your money.

Well, your first step would be to find some products that you may like to fit your budget, browse the forums or other places and find reviews, then piece it all together. Then you could always post and let the forum know what you decided on and get some opinions from us that way. Not sure if you're going from the ground up but...

1) Find a good HU

2) Find a nice set of component speakers

3) Find a nice amp to power them

Then go from there...

okay, i need a good head unit first...what is a good brand out there now? I haven't been in the car audio scene in a few years, and have lost touch with who's making the real high quality equipment nowadays....

Most people will tell you;

Alpine, Eclipse, Premier [Pioneer]

There's always Nakamichi, Denon, etc for higher-end.

Clarion makes some wonderful decks, not sure why they're not as popular.
