Sealing edges of sub box

My friend and I are building our first sub box with a design i got from pwk and the box isnt perfect hahaha, so there are some small gaps between a few pieces of mdf where a piece joins another piece. The glue fills it some, but ive heard that gorilla tape is good for the subs gasket to seal the sub, but would that be good for the inside corners too? Or would caulk or something else be better?

silicone caulk is what you need. Put it on the inside corners, all of them. If you can't get the gun to it use a finger. Putting anything on the outside won't help.

Do let the caulk cure before putting in the sub because it could affect the glue on the sub. (I think this is rare, but it can't hurt to be safe.)

I've heard the fumes from the silicone caulk can cause issues with the soft parts of a subwoofer. Never experienced it myself, nor do I know if its true but better safe than sorry. Plus the caulk needs to be dry before you fire the subs up anyway.

Get a tube of liquid nails and you'll be all set. Comes in a green tube and costs like $5 I believe. Get it in all of the corners and give it a solid 24 hours to dry and cure. You're gonna want to put it in a garage or something while it's drying because the smell is pretty strong. I also suggest wearing some latex gloves when you are putting it on -- using your bare hands can get very messy
