The skar will dominate the lows.

Depends what you like. The AQ's likes slightly higher tuning.

The Skar will **** the lows.

On the other hand, the AQ isnt as loud on the lows and wont go as low, but in exchange will be way louder when playing 40+hz.

So it depends what you expect to listen too. Rock=AQ, Rap=Skar

If you like both, ur call, try to get a demo of at least one or the other if you can.

I like balance. I mainly listen to dnb/dubstep. I have no clue what hz my stuff plays at though. I feel like the AQ would be a better choice for me for balanced bass.

Just had my neighbor 'demo' his Skar VVX-12 for me yesterday afternoon. It was in a little Scion 2-dr hatchback, rear facing, in a tiny sealed .69 cubes, and only being pushed with about 400W. He ran thru a bunch of different music, from Opus to Bass Mechanic, and it performed flawlessly with nice, clean lows...was prolly hitting low 130's even receiving less than 1/2 of the watts it could accept.

I bought 2 of them for my own install.

lol my single VVX-12 is off exactly 400w, too. It shakes my roof and windshields and side mirrors a little bit on the lows in a ported box tuned to 33Hz. Going to get a second one in a box tuned to 30Hz and see what happens

I'd probably go with the skar man. The wubztep likes lows every so often.
