so this is a no brainer, if I want loud ported is the way to go...in this case.

also, what is the sub displacement for a 15in L7? Looked on the web site and didnt see it.....unless it has an abbreviation.

Putting an L7 in a sealed enclosure is akin to cutting off your nose to spite your face. Just don't do it. Putting it in a sealed enclosure isn't going to make it a SQ sub; it's simply going to take away from the L7's greatest strength - getting loud. If you go sealed, go with a different sub.

Wow. Way to put each of those drivers in enclosures they don't want to be in.

L7s love ported enclosures and the ME loves sealed enclosures. If you're wanted just output, buy the L7. You don't seem to really have a clue about what's going on so it will sound beautiful to you.

Poor SQ will result from putting subs in incorrect enclosures which is exactly what you're doing!

ok. insight I needed, once I decoded it. What do yall think of an Me in 3cf sealed compared to one in 2.5 at 34hz...

ME sealed will sound very nice, get decently loud, and will be pretty accurate. Ported, it will be sloppy, hollow, and peaky. I did not like the sound of them ported at all. Was it louder? Of course. Did I enjoy it? Hell no.
