Orion Prototypes / Kicker CVR?

Hello all, I just have a quick question for you. Right now I have a jl10w3 in a custom 4th order bandpass (you may have all seen it in the box construction forum). It gets fairly loud, but really it has great sound quality. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't seem to hit the really low notes as well as I'd like. So, I'm on a budget right now, because I just got pulled over for doing 13 over... so I have to pay for that, plus a radar detector so that it doesn't happen again //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif So we are looking at around $120 shipped for a sub / 2 subs, whatever. What I want is a sub that is SQ, and can hit the low notes very well.

I've narrowed it down to two options, (unless someone can find me a better one).

-Kicker Comp 15" - $80 shipped

-2 Orion XTR Pro DVC 12" Prototypes - $113 shipped

A large part of getting the 'lows' is moving air. Therefore, I would get the two 12's, more cone area and the ability to move more air (theoretically.) Large box, tuned to 25-30Hz and you're good.

I have never used them, but for that price they look like a hell of a deal. If I was looking for some budget 12's right now I wouldnt think twice about purchasing those.

Cvr is not the best for sq and lows but gets loud as shit. You should look at 2 assassin 12's. xluben i think has 2 forsale
